Call Before You Dig...

Underground Cable Locates - Don't take chances, call before you dig. Alabama Law requires that anyone doing any type of excavation to contact the underground utility owners. This is made simple by calling the Alabama Line Locate Center at 1-800-292-8525. Then, the Locate Center notifies the individual utilities. It is a free service to you. The law does state that the utility has 48 hours to locate the lines. Once the lines have been located they will be flagged and/or painted. The color of the flagging/paint indicates the type of utility. For emergency digging, our locate personnel will be dispatched immediately.
