Green Power Is Here!

TVA, in conjunction with Sheffield Utilities, offers you, the Customer, a chance to give back to the environment by purchasing Green Power.

Customers wishing to buy Green Power must do so in 150-kilowatt-hour blocks(about 12 percent of a typical household's monthly use). Each 150-kilowatt-hour block costs only four dollars($4.00), which will be added to your monthly utility bill. The great thing about Green Power is that you can buy as many or as few blocks as you desire.

When you buy Green Power it is then distributed throughout TVA's electric system. By distributing Green Power throughout the TVA system, the Customer is assured reliable and affordable power.
