Green PowerTVA, in conjunction with Sheffield Utilities, offers you, the Customer, a chance to give back to the environment by purchasing Green Power.
Customers wishing to buy Green Power must do so in 150-kilowatt-hour blocks(about 12% of a typical household's monthly use). Each 150-kilowatt-hour block costs only $4, which will be added to your monthly utility bill. The great thing about Green Power is that you can buy as many or as few blocks as you desire. When you buy Green Power it is then distributed throughout TVA's electric system. By distributing Green Power throughout the TVA system, the Customer is assured of reliable and affordable power.
For more information or to sign up for Green Power please contact Sheffield Utilities at (256) 389-2000 ext. 2708 or by visiting TVA's Green Power website.
